The Power of Resilience

        Michelle Grew up in a small town in the Texas Panhandle where she was faced with many life challenging circumstances that seem insurmountable after losing her father to a violent crime at the age of 12. Despite experiencing mental, emotional and physical abuse, running away from home, teen pregnancy, domestic violence, low self-worth and working many dead-end jobs, Michelle successfully earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Houston- Clearlake and a Master of Social Work from the University of Houston Main Campus. She is a first-generation college graduate.

         Michelle has more than 30 years’ combined experience working in Corporate and Non-Profit Leadership Roles, Mental Health and Social Service Agencies. Michelle Develops and Facilitates Leadership Trainings and Workshops for Corporations, Social Service Agencies, Schools and Churches and provides Supervision and Consulting for Social Workers aspiring to obtain their Clinical License and open a Professional Private Practice.
